Finding Nemo Audition  Information

Summary:

Disney and Pixar's Finding Nemo: A 60-Minute Family Musical is a new stage version of the beloved 2003 Pixar film, designed specifically for young audiences. Featuring a memorable score from award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez (Frozen, Coco), this fun and lively musical is sure to delight the entire family!

Finding Nemo follows Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish who lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo. When Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic odyssey across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.

Production Fee (Replacing Mandatory Fundraising) Instead of requiring students to participate in mandatory fundraising campaigns, there will be a Production Fee of $150 per student. This fee helps cover the essential costs of the production, including costumes, set construction, equipment, and props.

Costumes (Provided by the Department): We have heard your feedback regarding the difficulty of students sourcing their own costumes. Therefore, we will now handle all the costumes for the show. The Production Fee covers the cost of these materials. This ensures a cohesive look for the show and removes the burden of finding, purchasing, or making costumes from the students and their families.

Parent Meeting: MANDATORY PARENT MEETING on August 17th at 5:30 pm in the auditorium. (If an adult does not attend your child will be dropped from the musical.)
